IAC Valve

How do you know when your IAC valve is bad. I have done the cleaning according to the projects but my 01' ST is still running rough. Here is another thing wrong with my ST. Any reason why I should keep it?

if the IAC is bad you should have a check engine light... did you try cleaning the intake butterfly valve???

You might check to see if you have a vacuum leak at the rubber elbow that's prone to cracking.
