ID and OD of our radiator hose??

I was wondering what size our radiator hoses are?? anyone know like inner diameter for upper and lower hose.

you know like old chevys are 1 1/2" upper and 1 3/4" lower....

i found this when i searched: someone posted the part # for a replacement upper hose being GATES 25487 and i searched in google and found : 1 1/2" x 30"



anyone know the lower?

I would venture to say the bottom hose should be the same diameter as the upper since the radiater has one pipe going in one side and another going out. Different sizes might cause problems with flow rates.

yep, i have the stainless flex hose on my 66 chevelle and was thinking of gettin some to cut and fit on the truck
