(Rant on.)

the worthless scum who was never introduced to a little thing called perspective or a big thing called decency, and in one swoop, managed to swipe my rim, wheel well in front of my splash guard and splash guard, chipping parts of the rim, the bed (yes, Dorothy, I see white composite material), and scuffing my splash guard while entering/exiting a parking space, and throughout all of this, still had the self-worth to drive away without as much as leaving a note.

The bed/fender can be buffed, and the white chipped composite touched up. The rim will stay as-is, and the splash guard, since it is not cracked, will too. The Trac is three years old, I know. But, it's the principle. And, it either happened in my parking garage here (As I was inspecting it, the woman who parks next to me came back and didn't say a word--I'm leaning towards her, though I could not find any paint transfer. But, her rear bumper is a mess as she is a terrible driver, and I would not doubt if I just did not look hard enough.) or at the law school, which opens its own can of where are your ethics, you moron.

(Rant off.)

These kind of things do suck rocks. I hate it when it happens. You try so hard to make your stuff nice and it seems no one else cares.

Until.... it happens to them...

Have you ever noticed that most of the time the person is driving a piece of crap. I look for out of the way places to park and when I return there are always vehicles parked beside me,go figure. Sorry to hear you were tapped. Hope you catch the lowlife and can make restitution.

That sucks,

Check to see if there was a security camera or bank near byt that may have caught it on tape..

man that is terrible. the same thing happened to my wife's car in the parking lot of our old apartment. someone hit it hard enough to crack the bumper, bend it and scuff paint all over it. took it to the body shop and it will cost $1700. ouch!! good luck. you're a bigger man than me---i woulda started throwing accuasations at anyone in earshot. and not have been nice about it.

Hey Steve,

Things are alright, man. I cannot complain.

On a good note, the local detail shop (who did the truck just last Friday) said they can buff most out, and will do the touch up of the remainder before resealing it. I'd do it myself, but I keep the detailing tools at home, not in Illadelphia.

You deserve to rant. Some people...

My wife came home & stated someone barely scraped her Forester. So I go check it out, yep, someone with a blue car scrapped the paint for about 4" near the wheelwell. I ask her who at work drives a blue car. By now she had left the porch and approached the cars. Her answer was nobody has a blue car, besides, the parking is assigned.

She then slapped the back of my head & called me a *******!! WTF? Pointing at my car (it's blue BTW) she stated the obvious, YOU hit my car.

Hey, my windows are tinted, it's dark in the morning, & I thought it was just a close one...
