Theresa and I are going to Myrtle Beach, SC next friday. We will be there until the 4th of January. We plan to rent a Harley and go for a ride. We were first wanting to ride to Jacksonville, but that is a long ride. Savanna will be the furthest south we will go.

If you had two hours to spend in Savannah, what would you do?

Go downtown by the river. There's lots of places to eat, museums, stores, horse and carriage rides and many other things. It's hard to narrow down without knowing your interests but the city is nice.

I just moved from there. Bummer, we could have met.

Stay away from The Sapphire Grill, it's overpriced and the food sucked! The pink house is expensive but worth every penny!

Tom, that's a pretty long ride, over 200 miles one way, for the first time. Might want to have a back-up plan. The ride down might not be too bad, but the trip home could get very long. Enjoy the trip.

I currently ride a bike.

As I said, Savannah is the furthest south we will go. No definite plans t go there, but just looking at options.

Tybee Island +1. Be sure to go to the Breakfast Club at least once!

Take a couple of DAYS at Savannah, not two hours. Savannah is well worth it.

Say "hi" to Lady Chablis while you are there!

You could just sit on a park bench waiting for a bus and tell others amazing stories about your life, because life is like a box of chocolates.

You have to go eat at Paula Deen's restaurant in Savannah (The Lady & Sons). You can do the cheesey ghost tours of some of the mansions and there are plenty of museum and such there.

If you end up going shorter to Charleston, you need to go to Patriot's Point and see the Yorktown. Eat at Oak Steakhouse and/or Magnolias. many museums here too.
