Well, I'm at Scott AFB, I'm temporarily using the library internet until I can get my apartment. I got here Sunday evening, and started my house hunting Monday. Rent prices are unreal here for anything I consider decent! I've been driving around and found MJ's ST in a parking lot, and he's got a sharp ride! I'll go see him when I resume my inprocessing.

The part that sucks is Jade isn't running right, she sounds like she has a racing cam in her at low idle. I cleaned out the IAC (I'll have to post pics of all the scum I cleaned out, and I've ran a few bottles of injector cleaner and Heet through the fuel system, and my last idea is to clean and re-oil the filter, as it hasn't been done yet. I was also having a 2-3 flare issue, but then it happened at 3-4 and 4-OD. I'm still trying to find the cause to that, but it has been shifting better and better the more I drive her. It actually hasn't happened noticably for the last day or two. And to really make things worse, I'm fighting off a cold trying to adjust back to the non-tropical weather. But, at least I'm home, and I have my truck back. :D

Welcome Home!

Check for vacuum leaks. Elbow issue?

BTW: Maybe we can meet at Porky's sometime for a BBQ sandwhich next time you are home.

Hi Larry, make sure you change the passwords you used when logging in to the Internet in the library. Libraries are the most common places to find keyboard logging software.

Big D- consider it done.

Gavin- bingo! I was datalogging it with the CarPC and XCal 2 when I noticed the DPFE sensor voltage was at 0. So I started thinking about replacing the DPFE sensor, but I decided to check the vacuum lines (specifically the elbow) and found a very impressive crack in it. I'll post pictures later.

Thanks everyone!

Welcome back, sounds like you need to take Jade out on the town, she has missed you. Thanks for the service as well._Ron

Welcome back Larry. Don't worry Jade's just letting you know she did'nt like being left alone for so long. She'll mellow out in about 2 weeks. :D

Larry, welcome back. I am heading down to the area you just came from in 2 weeks, except I will be mobile. :)

I normally leave my trac in longterm storage, this time I am leaving it with my wife so it can get driven occaisionally :) and I am sure my 18yo DD will help make that happen.

Anyhow, glad you are home safe.... enjoy!
