was looking at a few wanted peoples opinions. looking for a sport based water cooled. was looking at the new honda TRX450R but dont really know a whole lot about them. my buddy just got a KFX400. i rode his and liked it but dont want the same quad i guess. opinions???

I had a Polaris sportsman 400 AWD liquid cooled. It was a great quad. Don't count out Polaris. I had no complaints about it, just sold it when I moved into the city.

I have a 2002 Honda 400EX and I love it. If I had known that Honda was comig out with the 450 I would have waited. Honda's QUALITY IS 2ND TO NONE; even with their all terrain vehicles. I also own a 2005 Honda CBR1000RR (see my library) and it's my 4th Honda vehicle, not including cars. You can't go wrong with the TRX450R and best of all you'll smoke your buddies KFX if your an experienced rider!

Let me know if you have any specific questions that I might be able to help out with.

i second what lil Red said, you cant beat honda's durability, i am currently a yamaha rider and previous honda rider, but when its time for my next bike i know it will be honda. go for the 450 like he said

I like the TRX450R, I rode a new one on the dunes this past weekend. I am 6'5" and 290 lbs and it didn't even realize I was ridding it! Also the Polaris Predator is a sweet quad. Don't buy the Yamaha Raptor, they are junk! Two of my friends have them and have nothing but problems.

now the old lady wants a sport quad with enough room for two. we rode my parents this weekend (both of us) and it had anough room i guess but it was an older honda 250. i want a newer one.

Uh ohhhhhh.......But check this out, unless she's going to be riding it with you all the time, you can swing it. I put my wife on the back of my 400EX all the time. Not nearly as much now because I taught her how to ride it too. It also makes her feel real good that she can play on my toy. Now the CBR1000RR, that's a different story, no playing on BIG RED! LOL

But seriously, if you can convince her that she can ride it too, then I bet you'll be okay.

no no she wants to learn like real bad. im kinda leaning toward the 400ex 2007 model. looks good and it fits in the back of the trac good right? tailgate down (no bed extender) and ratchet straps?

i want to sell my 2003 400ex $3200 i love it just no time to go where i want to go ride any more so i am looking at a 125cc shifter cart, i have a track close by

The new Honda cfr450 engine has troubles with the intake valves pulling throught the head ,same engine in the ATV. Check valve clearance as stated in the manual if you buy one.
