info. on the timing chain?

i was talking to a Nissin dealer last weekend and he mentioned that all ford vehicles have a timing belts instead of a timing chain. please tell me that he's wrong.. and which is better a timing belt or a timing chain.. just curious. ladybug in Ontario. Calif.. thanks.

The sport trac has a chain the litle motors have belts like the 2300 ect. And for my money the chain is best. good luck and have fun
