Well I installed 4 Boston Acoustic S85 6x8's.



$144.00 shipped to my door.



Put em in myself... so about an hour of install time. (used adapters to save time)



End Result.





Very clear n crisp sound! I recommend the hell out of em.





Now I'm searching for a very small sub to add just a pinch more bass and I'll be a pretty happy camper.

I have the 85's as well and thats my biggest complaint is the total lack of bass, but then i like a little thump. the highs are very very good imho.

Mr. Rugby. there is a chance that you could have the + and - wires mixed up from one side of the truck to the other. doing this will completely cancel out your bass. I made this mistake the first time i hooked up my new speakers with the stock wires. most people probably know better than to do what i did then but i thought i'd share

Nice, I just checked Crutchfield and they are $119 a pair? Where did you get that price from? I'd like to upgrade mine too since I plan on keeping this trac for a long time.

congrats...i just picked up a set of Focal KF components on the weekend. a little more than i wanted to spend, but i goot too good a deal to pass up....can't wait to get them in!
