I want to change the color of my instrument panel, as well as the power window buttons. I have seen several people have done it, but cannot find a project on the subject.

I just want to know what I am getting into before I start, and would appreciate someone who has done it who would not mind exchanging a few emails before I get started. Thanks.

I have done everything on the dashboard, feel free to look at my picture folder to see the result. If you need help feel free to email me and i will halp you as much as i can.

Dallas, copy me on those instructions on how to change dash lights. Also all the others, radio, windows, etc...........I would sure appreciate it.................Thanks

All i did was take apart the dash, take off the speedo needles... take off the 3 pieces of white intrument cluster gauge overlays, took 400 grit sandpaper, sanded off the green film that makes our dashes green, spayed the back with a bluw stained glass paint (home depot) and then replaced all the 6 194 size bulbs with these:

Its not hard just time consuming. About 3 hours or so, and dont forget to mark out where your needles were and i would recommend getting white needles from a late model explorer or ranger

nice thing about LED's is they practically never wear out. Most have a 10,000 to 100,000 hour life. Your truck will be in the scrapyard before those LED's burn out.
