interior painting

theres a local sport trac getting parted out. this is the first time i have seen one locally since ive owned my truck.



i want to take the overhead console and center console but there tan and my interior is grey.



whats a good matching paint i can use that will last?

Paint them black. I saw a pic of a ranger that was done that way and it looked great.

Looks amazing Mike, what kind of paint did you use. Did you need to scuff the plastic first?

I used one of those green scuff pads, an adhesion promoter, then SEM black satin, and SEM clear satin. The SEM paint is a few bucks more, alot of the pros use it, and I got some great results and its wearing well. I even did all the cladding and trim pieces with it, I highly recommend the stuff...

Being that it is overhead. I think any color that is close, will be fine..
