Intermittent P0401 code

Hello All



First I would like to thank you all for the great advice. I was able to fix the p0171 code with the vacuum elbow a couple of weeks ago. Saved me a bunch of money. Here is my problem. I have been having the CEL come on for about 2 days and then off again and then maybe 3 days later it will come on for a couple of days. Do I need to replace the EGR or just clean something out??

Replace the DPFE sensor...

Todd, I replaced the DPFE sensor early spring this year after reading on of your posts.

Try cleaning the egr passages first.... The tube is not hard to take off.... Try that then. IF not you may need a new egr... But get the gaskets first before you remove any thing, Just in-case the tear...
