Internet Explorer question???

Ok, as of yesterday the slot where you type in the web address you want to go to is no longer there. I did the right click thing and the "Address Bar" is checked. So, I unchecked it to see what happens and the Goggle tool bar disappears.



Am I just missing something here or what?



I would like to get my Address Bar back.....

Is the toolbar locked? Unlock it and see if it is hidden for some reason. You'll see some three dot lines that you can drag.

Could be several reasons. Why not go ahead and upgrade to IE 7 if you haven't already done so.

try hitting the F11 key for full screen and then hit it again to go back to normal mode



also if the address bar is not visible, it could have been dragged back into another bar. Where you see vertical lines in the tool bars, place your cursor over it to get the double arrows, then slide it back and forth to see if its within that tool bar

IE 7 causes several errors and has to close for certain sites I need to access frequently.



I had to uninstall it after running the latest release for a week.

I gave up a long time ago and downloaded Firefox. It's free.

Opera is even a better choice.

None of the above thus far, but,,, I did find it. It was actually buried under the word "Address". No arrows or anything to grab, so I grabbed it anyways and it popped right up.



Hopefully it will stay there.
