iPod/07 ST solution needed

I have a 07 Sport trac and a 8gb iPod Nano. My ST has the 6 disc MP3 changer, Sirius, and the subwoofer. I don't have the MP3 port on my dash though.

I purchased the DLO transdoc, but it sounds like crap and my wifes iriver fm transmitter sounds good, but doesn't charge and it is constantly just cuts off.

So back to my question. Has anyone found a good solution for thier iPod with thier factory equipment?



I looked at the logjam site, but didn't find anything compaitble with the 07ST nor the iPod second generation Nano.

You should have the port, it's not on the dash though. Look on the front side of the center console armrest (that's where mine is, and I have the same setup as you as far as factory audio goes).

My '07 has the audiophile system but does not have the port.



I was wondering the same thing: is there a connector on the back of the radio that will accept a port connection or wiring harness with a port?

I have the audiophile, but no port. Coincidentally, I bought the iTrip today and it works very well. I am thinking that I might have it hardwired, but all the kits i've read about and seen say it wont work if you have factory installed satellite radio. I don't know if this is true for all, but just all the ones I've seen.

Peripheral Electronics makes a GEN 2 iPod2Car adapter for your 2007 Sport Trac. Make sure you have the MP3 logo under the CD loading slot and be sure you have the AUX button as well which you should as yhou have the SAT radio. You will need to add a switch and a relay to be able to retain your SAT Radio. if you need more info just email me as i work for them in thier research and development team. i know it works on your vehicle as it was tested on mine.

MSG for MPTonyT: Have you guys come up with an adapter for the 07 ST radio with 6cd/MP3 "audiophile radio" so that Satellite radio can be hard wired into the radio? Audiovox doesn't have the adapter for Terk and I haven't found anything that will allow the AUX button to work so that satellite can be fully integrated into the radio.
