Considering that it's been below zero for most of the past two months, this is a big deal.

The temp display said 90 degrees 'F' this afternoon. The gauge has been reading a little high for a while. It was probably in the mid 80's. We seem to be in a little heat wave over here in SoCal.

Loving this weather, other than it killing my ice fishing chances. I went out last Friday after work and the ice near shore is starting to melt, there was about 6-8" of standing water on it already. But we drove out because after that 10' stretch (which is only in 2' of water at best and solid ice to the bottom there) there is over 30" of ice. I needed my extension on my auger for the first time. The worst is that the roads that used to be plowed on the lake are no longer there and you have to hike 100 yards to get to the good fishing through knee to waist deep wet slushy snow. At least we were rewarded with crappies that were slamming everything we put down.
