I like the front ends better then what we have....much more proportional to the rest of the truck.

A buddy of mine is converting his Ranger to a crewcab, he's just waiting on a drivers side rear door to get started...should be pretty sweet when he gets done. But he's going with the South American style over the Eastern style.

I think the idea for the Ranger is to be generic. I believe thats its appeal. Inexpensive very light duty truck marketed toward commercial use (light delivery and fleet). The fact that people buy them for personal use is just a bonus to Ford.

I had been looking at them in Mexico & few years ago the ford web site said that they were going to release them in Canada so on returning to Can after winter in Mexico I went to my dealer & ask when I could get one,the sales person did not believe me so we looked up the site & there it was, we then went further & found that ford had decided they could sell fancy 4 door truck to canadians for a greater prophet margin ,I was looking for a plain 4 door truck & not pleased to say the least

When I saw my first Sport Trac, I was in the lot looking for a crew cab Ranger. Of course, I fell in love with it, and it was my first Trac.

That Ranger in Qatar definitely has that early Datsun / Toyota beauty. The bedsides look like they're 1/2" thick. :)
