JL Audio TW5 Line (2.5" Mounting Depth for a 13.5" Sub!)

For anyone looking for a shallow mount subwoofer, you should check out the new JL Line, this thing looks to be only a couple inches deep.



Dont know of any reviews yet, but JL is decent stuff.

Kicker also just came out with a shallow mount sub woofer. The 12" has a mounting depth of 4 5/16” and the 10" has a mounting depth of 4 3/16”.

These have a mounting depth of 2.5" for the 12" AND the 13.5"

I've been using a Shallow Mount Pioneer in my '07 for a while now. JDBoxes built me the box. I did nto have to remove anything to put the box in and it fits behind the rear seat. Single Pionner 10"

Pioneer makes a 12" with a 3" depth as well. I have it in my SVT Focus with a fake shelf in the backseat.

I have the 10" shallow mount from clarion. It sounds super clean and loud for being such a small sub.
