Just got a ford factory folding bedcover for my trac. my friend wrecked his and gave me the cover. Now the problem is that i don't have the hardware to make it LOCK! where can i get the locks for this cover? im guessing my only option is to go to the dealership but how much is that going to run me? Thanks guys

Justin

You might be able to get a lock from a salvage yard. Good luck getting a matching key though. The RFID key will probably cost you more than the lock! It never hurts to ask, though.

If you want a lock that works with the keys that open everything else on your ST, the dealer is your best option. Something tells me that it may not be possible to change the tumblers in some car locks any more. The dealer-supplied lock might cost, at least it will come with a key, or the code to make a key. You can save a lot of money by having them make a regular, non-RFID key to use with the cover instead of having your entire car re-keyed.

I'm a little confused here, does it have the locks and you don't have the keys and or you also don't have the brackets to make it lock or both.:smack:

Ok so the key fits and works the locks? Second part, brackets go to the link below and that should solve your problems or sell me the cover.:haveabeer:
