Has anyone noticed any additional noise or whistling after installing a K+N? I'd love to put one on my 07', but I don't really want a lot of extra noise.

I hear it every single day. Usually when I first start the vehicle and it gets much worse when it's cold out.



I check the clamps and retighten everything on the intake about once a month but it doesn't change the whistling issue.

I guess 294 HP and 20 MPG Hwy. is good enough for me. Not worth hearing more noise IMO. Call me a wussy if you will, but my grey hairs have come with an appreciation for quiet!
