KD end cap oil filter wrench

Does anyone have any knowledge about these type of oil filter wrenchs? It seems to me that it would be easier to use when changing the oil. Would love to order one , but not sure which one would fit the 4.6. Does anyone know?

Do you mean K&n filters?, if so takes a 1 inch socket, filter is an HP 2010

No, its a socket type wrench. instead of the wrench that locks around the filter, it slides over the end of the filter.

Measure your filter, they make two sizes, 3 inch and 3 3/4, best i can do sorry.

We have them for sale at work (Advance Auto) for a variety of different size filters. In my store they are right next to the filter rack. Find the filter you need and match it up to the wrench. Can't recall the price, but it isn't more that 8 bucks. Ours are made by Ampro. I have 2 myself and they work as advertised. Takes a standart 3/8 drive ratchet and extension to use. For my 4.6 V8 I find it easier to use with a 6" extension, then a swivel, followed by another 3" extension to get to the filter easily. Good luck!
