Key Questions

I have two questions regarding keys.

1. I'd like to cut a 3rd key for my 2k7 sporttrac. Is is possible to order one of those keys with the built in remote for the ST?



2. Some bozo broke into my 98 ranger the other day and busted up the door cylinder. I've picked up a door cylinder from the scrap yard since the dealer wanted 80 bucks, but it doesn't have a key and I can't figure out how to get the cylinder apart to I can change the tumblers over? Is there a trick to getting the end off?

I have an 04 st and i just bought one off of ebay and took it to a locksmith. They programmed and cut the key, works fine.

1) Ford cylinders are not hard but you would need a "cap" tool and a new cap. Take it to a locksmith and have him re-pin it to your key. My charge would be 20-25$....

The fusion key is a nice key I was hoping it would work. As for question 2. I was calling locksmiths on the weekend and none of them seemed interested in rekeying it. I'll call a few more tomorrow.
