keyless entry

Does any one know if there is a spot on the sport tracs that the dealers would put the keyless entry number, i have bought a S/T and did not get the keyless number.

Did you buy it new or used? Did you buy it from a Ford dealer? If you bought it from a Ford dealer (new or used) you should have them pull the code for you at no charge (they have a computer for that). If you didn't you can go to your local Ford dealer and have them do it. It will probably cost you around $35.

YES in the 2001 it can be 2 places..... Behind the rear panel behind the rear seats or the newer spot under the passenger side airbag.

My understanding and experience shows 1st gennie Job 1s are behind the rear centre seat and Job2s are under the dash in front of the passenger side air bag. Pop up the dash board defroster vent on the left side and look thru windshield with a strong flashlite and you will see the white box about the size of 2 cigarette packs with the 5 digit code number just a little larger print than the other print.
