keyless remote

Thought I'd ask some experts here before I go to the dealership.



Wife has an 02 Grand Prix, lost her keyless remote and I though I would get her one for a stocking stuffer. Are there any after market ones or should I get one from a wreckers and get it programmed for her car? does the dealer have to program it?

Most Keyless entry PODs can be self programmed. Just need to do a little digging on the net to get the procedure.



Salvage yard or eBay is the way to go..

Dealer wants $200 for new one. Ouch!

wreckers need to know number on back of the old one to match up to a used one ( mine is lost ???)

yea www.keylessride.com they are good. Send instructions and are fast. 'never had any problem with them.
