Keypad 2001 ST issues. ??

Hi guys again..

Basically still "frame off"ing my truck for the trip to FL... lol



Todays million dollar question:

My key pad.

It Locks the doors (when I hit both back keys)

But doesn't light up with other numbers, therefore cant unlock.

Any ideas, I have it ripped apart as we speak..

Do you have the right code? You can also purchase a new keypad. I installed a stick-on pad on my 09 and it was $79. Check with Torrie at Fast Parts Network.

Has it been working properly, has it ever? It's difficult to diagnose without the benefit of a Ford tester but checking connectors for corrosion and pin damage as well as disconnecting the battery for a reset is mentioned in the manual.

While we are on the keypad subject I just got a 2010 ST. When I got my '07 ST it came with a business card sized card with the permanent code for the keypad. The 2010 didn't come with anything. I am going to as the dealer about it and also I didnt get any documentation for the Ford alarm they installed.



Is there any way I can find the keypad code?
