Driver's side Rear Axle Shaft for my 01 job 1 4x2 4.10 axle st? Dealer wants 196.05 for the shaft and 24.16 for bearings. Ouch... if a junkyard has one that dosen't wobble like mine or if anyone on here does, I'll take it.

My cost on the axle is around 129....... Dont know on shipping and tax, But check local junk yards...

All the shops around are mostly quick lubes or general R&R shops or body shops. Very few specific shops except a few tranny shops. I don't know of too many junkyards besides the u-pick's but the truck is too new to be in there yet.

Thanks Todd Z, I'll see what i can come up with.

Isn't there a member here hooked up with the junkyards somehow?

I assume it is a rear shaft. However, the left and right are not the same. So I looked up the passengers rear just to get a price.

Literally thousands came up. Seems the common most affordable price is right around $70 to $75 all day long. There are many at $50.00 but do not offer a warranty against being defective.

If you have any interest let me know. I'll be glad to help you.

Thanks, it is the rear driver's side shaft. I'm definately interested. Do they come with the bearings as well? I understand that they are attached to the shaft. I'm in Miami, FL 33183. What's the damage? lol

Duh....

Didn't see it in your original post that you said it is the drivers side. My bad!!!

I did get your e-mail. WIll do a formal search in the morning and e-mail the details to you with shipping. I will confirm that it does come with the bearing or not. Normally, if the bearing is monted on the shaft our near the hub area they will leave it on. If so, I'll have them check to make sure it is good.

You'll hear from me soon...
