so a few weeks back i posted asking if anyone else here had lacrosse in their blood, and said that my team was making the move from JV to varsity this year... We had our first varsity game as a club here at home (where we have never lost)... well we had a rude awakening when we showed up and the other team was getting there, because they had nearly 3 times more players as we did, bottom line, they played hard and earned a 12-1 victory over us... playing on the varsity level is so much more hard core than i thought it would be!

its not ALL about skill. I had almost the same situation when i played in HS. we were just a new team and we had the skill to compete, just not the fresh legs and lungs to be very competitive. in time you'll get better and find other ways to win. good luck!!

ive played lax for about 5 yrs best sport ive ever played hehe =) still got some scars on my shines from takin a beating
