Reminds me of an incident with wife #1. She gained a lot of weight when pregnant. Baby only weighs 8.5 pounds, she gains 60, I dunno. Anyway, we're at the checkout line in the grocery store, our son is 4 and daughter was about 1. Checkout clerk says "Wow, you're having another one so soon!". Wife of course was not pregnant. I didn't say anything and just ducked behind the People magazine rack.

That was finally enough to get her to go on a diet.

Reminds me a bit of a situation with a coworker of mine at a place I worked about 15 years ago. One morning, she called her boss (who was also my boss) and left him a voicemail, indicating that she had gone into labor, and was therefore starting her maternity leave, and she wouldn't be back in for about two months. Unlike this case, she knew she was pregnant--but she had never told anyone, and she was/is so obese that no one else had any idea of it. Leaving my boss to have to scramble at the last minute to find a replacement for her for a few months.
