larger tires

i bought a set of 16 inch rims from a 2001 explorer sport.i was wondering if i would be able to fit 265/70 16 on these.

Yes. The 255/70R16's are what came on my '01 4x2 and you're only going up one size, no problem.

Are those 70 series or 75 series, STanner? My '01 4x2 came with 255/70R16's and my '02 4x4 came with 235/70R16's. I took the 255's and put on my '02 and lowered it 2" and don't have any rubbing anywhere.

they are long gone, but i beleive they were 75's...

wow. that looks so much better then the 15s i have on now.can't wait to put new tires on.they really fill out the wheelwells.
