I am a Ford Salesman and I from what I can tell there is at least 70 to 80 new Adrenalin's left available on Ford lots right now in the U.S... with a higher percentage of them being V-6's. If anyone is close to GA or AL I will sell you one at least $2,000 off MSRP plus there is a $3500 Rebate on top of that. Also, there is some extra money off for certain previous Ford owners.

$2k is all? These are stickered at what 37-40k? My last 4 vehicles I bought, I told the dealer a minimum of 15% off the sticker, before we even get to negotiations.

I haven't seen $3500 rebate on the sport trac models either, just other models but NOT the ST. got some proof of the $3500 rebate on the ST??

Ford will give ANY member here an Xplan pin ANY time for ANY ford vehicle...

im in TN but only a 2000 rebate makes it pointless for me to drive down and buy an adrenalin

Todd,

How do we get a pin? I may be looking for a new truck or possible car this fall/winter. And was totally unawre of this bonus as a member of the site.

sorry if I confused anyone.. Rebates are $3500 on ST's so with rebates and discount I can sell it for $6,000 to $7,000 off MSRP.

TODD, I have never heard that.. X-Plan is a Partner Program that Ford has with only certain companies or corporations for their employees. Sometimes I can sell certain vehicles cheaper than X-Plan anyway.

Chad and Moore,

We are allowed to be here and use the name because of Ford......

I got my X-plan on my adren....

Chad,

Just have to ask, The marketing manager can get me an xplan pin for any member....All i have to do is ask... the pin is good for about 8 months or so...

Just need to get them some info that would be done privcately...

Even the UAW Rep Steve at the LAP plant said he would gladly give any member a pin...

REMEMBER there are how many hundred of LAP workers with 5 pins Each..... FORD ALLOWS them to give the pin to members here !!!

It pays to Know people !!!!

CHAD.. 15% off sticker is rediculous! ..unless that is including rebates. There is not that kind of mark up on new vehicles. For instance, a $30,000 Ford vehicle only has between $1600 to $2000 mark up and a $40,000 Adrenalin only has about $3500 mark up. I know because I sell them everyday and you can't make any money on new vehicles!

mooret05, 15% is not rediculous.

The last five Fords I bought. I drove them off the lot with tt&l for more than 20% off sticker. the last one was an '08 escape limited. 21.5% off sticker with tt&l.

I drove my '04 trac off the lot with tt&l @ 23% off sticker.

If I was in the market. I bet I can do it again. Reason I never bite on what salesmen tell me. Seems they always call me back and meet my price. I dont trade cars. I sell my own. I pay cash. I havent financed since 1988.

The new model years had not come out yet either.

EDDIE.. I am guessing your 08 Escape Ltd stickered around $27,000. And you are telling me you bought it for around $21,000 and the new year had not even came out yet? I would definitely have to see that on paper to believe it. That vehicle only has about $1800 mark up and has never had more than about $2000 to $2500 in rebates.

your close to right about your figures. My ex has all the papers now. I would love to scan them for you. I dont lie so it will have stand that way.

I just called her. I do have to correct some figures on the escape. List was $28,400. Drive out cash was $22,100. That is 22.2% off list. $1K of that was an incentive.

My '04 trac was bought in june of '04, no incentives. Her '08 escape was bought in sept of '07.

All I can say is when I deal Im a hard sell. I have walked away from cars I wanted.

My ex always thought I was crazy in my dealings. And the dealerships called me a thief, even after the sale....I didnt care. If they were the type moved inventory, they lost nonthing. I have freinds that were dumb enough to pay sticker on common inventory. So thats why I dont feel bad. All dealerships catch dumb fish. Also depending on their own factory incentives. Some accesories are free to the dealer.

The last car I got gouged on was the '88 t-bird. Never again.

I have given X plan pins to members since 2002? I still have a couple left. I gotta support my former employer. Even though I don't work at Ford anymore, I still support the company. I used to work at Atlanta Assy plant, when they shut down I didn't transfer and got a job somewhere else.

Y'all have a good one

Hey guys. Really enjoyed the banter on the "real" sales price of a vehicle. I am in sales and am more than willing to give the salesperson a fair addition to the bottomline for his troubles, but i would never buy off the sticker. We are simply helping to move inventory. Give me a great deal and I'll make it worth your while, but i won't pay retail for anything.

I have a 2007 xlt with the 4.6. The body is in good shape, interior would clean up nice. Has 69k highway miles. It is my work truck, and I average about 50k a year. I bought it about a year ago used.

Do you guys think I should keep it and see how long it will last me. Maybe set a mileage record? haha, or trade it in on a last of the lot Adrenaline or Limited? Or.. what is a fair price to get for it these days in the hopes of a Sport trac fan keeping it going for years to come?

Feel free to email me if you are interested in purchasing, or if you have any last minute deals on 2010 leftovers. [email protected]

Thanks!!
