Hi all,

My ST developed a squeaking sound first when going over bumps, now it's there all the time.

I checked the rear and found the noise comming from the leaf springs on the driver's side.

There is a sort of ring or band that holds the leaves together, and a rubber piece torn appart hanging from it, which I guess is the cause for leaf rubbing and squeaking.

Can anything be done besides using lube on it?

Do I need to take it to a shop to get that fixed?

Thanks

When I disassembled my leaf pack, I pretty much made the stock leaf-wrap useless, I made my own out of some <1/4" metal band and some 1/4" rubber. Unless you think you can handle either making your own rubber band, or installed a new OEM one, I'd let someone else worry about doing it.
