leak under floor

so i had a sub installed in my 2005 sport trac anf the guy who did it asked if i knew there was a leak somewhere. i said no. he showed me under the factory rubber flooring and it was soaked on the driver side from front to back. the thing thats weird is that there is no condensation inside or smell of mold. he asked if the windshield had ever been replaced which it hasnt. if i never had some stero work done i would have never known. has anyone ever heard of such a leak thats UNDER the floor? i mean you hafta remove the plastic molding to even access the underside of the floor! help!
