I just found out that my 08 Sport Trac has a leaking rear main seal. The truck has 120,000 miles on it. Shop quoted me $1,400 to replace seal. Should I do it or could the crankshaft rear main bearing be next?
Shop did a compression test and all cylinders passed. Top end seems to be in Ok condition. This is the V-8 engine.
I, like others on this forum, struggle with what kind of truck I would replace my Sport Trac with.
