Leather Steering Wheel

I wonder if the color of th eleather might have something to do with the durability.

My wife's ZX3 has leather on the wheel, but it's black, and looks like new. The car is a 2000.

Not sure, Fer. The 2000 Ranger I had before the Trac had a black leather wheel. It was starting to look worn when I sold the truck, and I was always careful with it. Who knows? Maybe Ford bought a batch of discount leather!
