I picked up this Leer cap on Craigslist last weekend. For $100!



It didn't come with any of the mounting hardware. So I went to the hardware store and got 4 eyelets and some large fender washers. I cut a small section out of the eyelets to turn them into "hooks" and I just hooked to the tonneau mounting pins. I adhered some firm foam rubber to the bottom of the fender washers. Worked out great.



I just finished the wiring for the dome light and third brake light last night. Turns out that Ford provides extra wires on the harness for a third brake light connection.

Im more of a fan of ARE caps but still, good deal for 100 bucks!

that looks great and is probably just what u need! i have a '05 and am lookinbg for the ford oem tonneau cover if you know anything.
