License Plate Cameras Stolen?

Have any of you folks ever experienced or know ROMf someone who has experienced having the license plate camera stolen from their vehicle? I want to get the back up camera for my ST, but I would hate to spend the money and have it stolen. My guess is that they would take my personalized plate also!

It's kinda useless without the rest of the equipment. I've never heard of anyone having that problem. Stupid people do stupid things, though.

i need one of those installed on my truck. but no i haven`t heard of anyone missing there`s. but if i had one last year i would not have backed into that sign. and it cost $1,900.00 to fix. :angry:

How about just mounting the camera frame & plates with some type of security-head screws that require a special bit?

Since I have been on this board, '04 . I dont remember any reports of camera theft.

Can try something like this..

Installed into the Plate and you dont see it unless your looking..
