Might be a good deal for a 4X2. If my son was a couple years older, I might have considered it.

I think, and I'm not positive, but I think when I bought my 04 there was a manual 04 on the lot. I know it was new, and it was definitely a manual, but I'm not 100% positive it was an 04.... I thought for a second about getting it, but went the the xlt instead of the xls (which was that truck)

03 was the last model year. I had to go thru hell, and drive 3 hours to a Ford dealer who would get me one. The driving dynamics are miles apart. I've had my track for almost 4 years and love it.

My future delima will be replacing it with another manual tranny something.

WOW! I've got 11 months of combat pay burning a hole in my pocket. When I get back from Iraq next month I'm buying my first ST, but the wife can't drive manual and refuses to learn. Can you bid less than the price listed on e-bay or will it not accept it.

EVERYONE should learn how to drive a manual. My dad wouldn't let me take my drivers' license test until I learned how to drive a manual transmission. My first vehicle was a '59 chevy with a 4-speed, and it was a pain in the a$$ to shift, but after driving that, I can drive pretty much anything.

Brandon, normally you can't bid less than the price listed on ebay, unless the price is a "buy it now" price, then you can bid below it...but only if someone hasn't placed a bid higher than that price. 11 months of combat pay eh? I bet the wife will find a way to spend 10 months of that. ;)

baron, your right on one thing, EVERYONE should learn to drive manual. It makes you understand so much more on driving. Kelly Blue Book lists this thing for $14,425; why would this guy be selling so cheap? Wrong on the combat pay; wife is the saver, I'm the spender. The cheaper I find my ST the more stuff I get to upgrade it with. I wouldn't mind the manual, I miss driving them. I've got his phone #, if he doesn't sell it on e-bay I might give him a call.

I don't know much about how the manual transmission tracs perform, since I've never seen one, but I suspect that it wouldn't be as much fun as driving a sports car with a manual transmission. They're just two different beasts. Plus, anytime you get a vehicle like that in a manual transmission, the vehicle depreciates WORSE than it would if it had an automatic, since very few people know how to drive (or want to drive) a manual transmission anymore. Oddly enough, the GTO that I bought the other day would have been CHEAPER if I'd gone with the automatic. The 6-speed is a $695 option! I am very glad I got the manual though, this thing is an absolute BLAST to drive.

You're lucky to have a saver wife, they're hard to find, so hang on to her with all you've got! That's part of my problem, I'm a spender and so is my woman, so I'm sure you can see how this can pose problems. hehe

Be safe over there Brandon.
