I have a Buddy's computer torn apart. The internal plug where the power supply gets plugged into is destroyed, (he knocked it of the table plugged in. Guess what it landed on).

This one is connected with wires, not directly onto the mother board.

I am finding things on the net, but, no pictures to confirm what it is. And, when I call, I get, "Well, we don't actually have the parts here, were just the call center".

It is a Sony Vaio, Model type is, PCG-TR3A

Any clues as to where I can get one would be appreciated....

Most computer "fix it" places might have it in stock, or at least point you in the right direction. My local one is pretty good at having things like that in stock.;)

All I have found are the style directly on the mother board.

However, I did just find it on the net with a picture. Brand new for $18.61.

Sooo, I ordered it..

Blackhat.

The part I need is at the site you suggested. It does have a picture of it as well. So, if the one i ordered is not what we want, then I will from there.

Thanks much...
