Hey,

I'm looking for a Soft Snapless Soft Tonneau cover. I've looked at online stores and on eBay, but still deciding what to go with. (For an '03 Sport Trac) Anyone buy one recently and have any suggestions?

Had one on my F150 real nice if you live in the south but in cold they suck. If it is cold they dont fit well at all. I would recommend a glass one or stock good luck with your choice. Bill

I have had one as shown at these links for two years here in montana. Winter not a problem, I like the looks, the flexibility and ease of use and it is fairly secure with a locking tailgate. Just rolls up and down, has hook and loop sealing down the sides.

I think I do want a snapless cover for the winter so I don't have to struggle with the snaps. You say that one is a hook and loop, what is this? Is this like Velcro?

I bought the Truxedo low profile rollup cover...havent installed yet...it has 1 1/2" velcro...no snaps..locks from the under side, you have to drop the tailgate...it has spring tensioners to deal with changing temps...comes in 6 different colors...

I hope to get to it soon, had it for 2 months now..

I have a folding TORZA tonneau Bought on EBAY two years ago. It is soft but the frame is sewn into the cover itself. It was really easy to install and easy to take on and off.

My only modification was, If you have a bed extender, I had to shave about 1" off of the right side lever. It kept hitting the extender and was an inconvenience.

It was 275 shipped out of texas. They had great communication and service.

good luck

I have an extang "peel on & off" cover. The way the cover "peels on" I am not sure how much trouble it would be in real cold weather. The one thing that bugs me about it is when you roll it up the plastic peice that runs along the edge makes it hard to get it rolled up tightly.

I have the sportmaster line of soft cover. Have had it for 3 years now and has done well in cold and warm climates. Came with lifetime warrentee. Bought at local rhino dealer so I dont have to deal with long distance help with claims. only problem is had two snaps fail but a quick trip to rhino and about 10 min. of my time and all like new. Cover is still tight and only needs the occasional cleaning and a little armorall and then looks like new.

Ok, I did just get one of these on eBay. I got it in two days and it's excellent. It's snapless and it uses some kind of rubber like seal instead of velcro like I see on most other snapless covers. The bows are good to, they have a latch to come out and it works real easy. The last cover on the last truck I had had these bows where you had to hit to "pop" them out. It also had snaps which can be a pain sometimes. The cover was $149 + $30 for shipping.

I got them it "aftermarketauto2005" from here:

The only problem I had was installing it. It didn't seem to fit right. I ended up losening all the clamps, fitting the cover to the rails then tighting the clamps and now it appears to fit very nice.

Thanks all for your help. Just thought I would pass this along for anyone else looking.

My Advance Tonneau (snapless) is great except it is rather difficult to seal near the tailgate on the last remaining side once all other areas are sealed, especially in cold weather. It doesn't make much of a difference whether it is supported in the upper or lower notches.

I have a Tonneau Masters soft cover, it snaps but it's not too bad in the cold. This one is better in that regard than the one on my Ranger, maybe because it's shorter. Longer you leave them rolled up, the harder they are to snap down. If it's only for an hour or two then it's okay. In my case I often need the whole bed open, so a hard cover wouldn't work for me.
