My brother-in-law has been thinking about replacing his Camry with a Sport Trac. He will be retiring in a few weeks and no longer needs the Camry for his work and would like to have a more versatile vehicle. Anyone have for sale a 4x4 Gen 2 with reasonable miles or know of one for sale? Thanks.

How bad does your brother-in-law want a Gen2 4x4? I just searched AutoTrader for 2007-2010 Trac, 4x4, any engine, any transmission, any distance from my location: 562 listings. If I were in the market I'm sure I could pare this search down to several cars worth a closer look. If the car I really wanted was too far away to go fetch and drive home there are plenty of car transporters around - and believe me they are hungry for business. I bought a car last fall and needed it shipped. I got inundated (hounded really) by booking agents wanting my business literally seconds after I hit "enter" on my online request for quote.

BTW, inserting keyword "Adrenalin" into same search dropped results from 562 to 13 - of which three are private owners. The car you want is out there, you just have to be willing to go get it.

There are many more Adrenalin 2008 to 2010 available in Ontario Canada at better prices than the US. Odd because the Adrenalin is made in the US.

I have bought my last 3 vehicles all in the US but this time had to buy locally because of the price difference for the Adrenalin.

Vic, the reason I was asking here is because I feel the members of a site dedicated to the ST are probably more likely to take care of their vehicle. They are also more likely to be aware of potential problems unique to our Tracs and therefore more likely to address any common issues correctly.

I agree completely - have bought several BMWs over the years; when I've looked for one the first place I go is the club website ads. When (if) I need to turn loose of my STA I'll offer it here first.

My 2010 Limited 4x4 V8 is always for sale, but the price is not gonna be real cheap yet. I am gonna pay it off this Spring, and it only has 30,000 miles on it. I imagine it will be sticking around for several more years... No more payments on a very nice vehicle with less than 35,000 miles will be very nice. Got the wife's 2010 Pilot paid off last summer. It is a great feeling to not be beholden to the bank.
