I wonder how many people fall for these scams!

I love this quote...

What will the Dynamic Fuel saving module do for my Vehicle?

Will help save 4-10 MPG

Faster and smoother Shifting (Manual or automatic transmissions)

More low end Torque

Adds on average 5-10 HP

I wonder how a chip will help smooth shifting with a manual tranny.

I wonder how that guy sleeps at night.

Tom

Maybe you plug it in through an adapter for your I-Pod, and it sends a subliminal

message to you (manual shift)?!?!

That's the only thing I can think of for a manual shift!:)

After reading the post on the E-bay link,... He's full of it!

All modern engines are set up to run on the leanest possible mixture, without harming

the engine/pistons, to meet the strict current emission requirements of the Federal

Government. Anything leaner, you'd have a hole in your piston, anything richer (as he

suggests), you'd throw a code through the ecm/pcm for "rich condition", picked up by

your O2 sensors!

What a Gas!!! (So to Speak)!

Sad thing is, there are probably people out there now buying this thing, and trying

to find the link for the "Tornado", AND the 'Fuel Magnet"!

No, no, no. Everyone knows the transmission likes Michael Bolton. Therefore, I encourage you to drive around, windows down (so the tranny can hear it loud and clear), playing Michael Bolton's "When a Man Loves a Woman."

Adds ten HP, and reduces your dignity coefficient.

P.S., ...

Maybe THAT'S what is causing some of our 2-3 Shift Flares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.P.S., ...

I get nice, firm crisp shifts while listening to Nickleback, or Van Halen!

P.P.P.S., ...

Might add a "Psychological" 10 Horsepower difference, because you stomp the throttle harder, to get away from the traffic light, so that no one hears that you have Michael Bolton in your C.D.

player, playing through the open windows!;););););)

Actually that is not entirely true. An engine running lean, even long before you would burn holes in your pistions will cause high NOx emmisions, thought your gas mileage will be awesome. Too rich, and your CO and HC levels will too high. Automakers go a little on the rich side to lower the NOx readings and let the cat clean up the rest. Plus higher CO numbers help the cat clean up the NOx reading by converting the NOx combine with the CO to create CO2 and N2 to be releaded into the atmosphere. IIRC, the perfect air-fuel mixture is 14.1 to 1...in other words 14.1 parts of air per part of fuel.

The auction is a scam none-the-less.

Tom,

I said, "Leanest 'Possible' ", (and, to "Meet" the strict current emission requirements),

not exceed the requirements, by any means, on either side of the air/fuel equasion.

Damn those Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide Gasses, and HydroCarbon Levels,

anyway!!!

This guy is a phony !!!

Look at his membership date and his feedback. He has only been a member since September 15th, that's less than 2 weeks. Also, his feed back indicates a very similar phrasing of the the feedback, like every other feedback entry uses the work "Great". His early feedbacks are only from Sellers and there is no Buyer feedback until September 20th.

In that short amount of time there is feedback indicating that the item works "Great" Having the item installed for only a couple of days, I would not be so sure that it worked so Great. I would want to test if for several tanks of gas before I would make that kind of a statement.

Also, if you look at some of the other "Chips" hes sells, they only give 2-3 MPG improvements but 30 more HP.

Finally, he states that these chips are designed to on fit that specific vehicle, but it doesn't matter if it's a V6 or V8??? I would think that would make a big difference since V6 and V8 ECU's are different as well as there is a difference in Manual vs Automatic transmission.

This guy and his Chip are a fraud and I suspect you will not see or hear of him on ebay in the next 30 days.
