I like the pics but it would be really good to show them either front to front equal or side to side equal angle wise. I have lowering blocks in the garage and want to block mine lower with blocks in rear and loosen the torsion in the front but am paranoid about doing so.

I don't want to do it half ass like that but I'm in a spot because I can't at this time afford drop spindles and the rest to do it "right".

The lowered one (yours?) looks like I want mine. How was it lowered? If by blocks, are the bump stops banging. If done properly (by my call) how was it done and at what cost?

Nevertheless, still looks good Dude...

XST: Not that I think it's wrong, but can be done better, just for more money. Am I wrong? Just doesn't seem right to alter a vehicle in such a way with $20 blocks and taking a couple bolts out.

Please enlighten me. Really!!!

If you want, I will make you some lowering blocks and charge you several hundred dollars if you like. That way you wont feel like you have a cheap lowering kit.:D

Thanks for the comments all...

Very appreciated...

Kinda funny though i met my friend Ray (raised ST) when he joined my softball team.

He never knew about the site but had his ST all raised up and with BIG LARGE TIRES... he's a big sport fisherman so he also tows a boat a lot. so he really loves the raised ride and so does his wife. Ray is a damn good guy. and a new member of this site too.

Dave to answer your question....

I did the $20-30 blocks (forgot what kind) i think 1.5 rear and just spun the spindles for the front either 1.25 lower or 1.75. it was so long ago.... i just remember it being off by .25" from the front.

the install price was my own time and labor... took some time but i got it done.

but afterwards i did go to an alignment shop to get it realigned.

I would not call it half ass...

If you are smart and do things correct nothing will be half ass.
