Hi...



I just found out about this stuff: LUBEGARD M-V Automatic Transmission Fluid Supplement. The site says you just add 1oz of this product to every quart of DEXRON/MERCON ATF. they say it Enhances DEXRON/MERCON ATF to perform like a MERCON V type fluid, by by eliminating the need to stock MERCON V ATF. Has anyone here ever used this stuff before? It sounds like a great idea...

Yes, I used that stuff at the Fast lubes i worked at....



You will NEVER find it in my Fords...

Why not Todd? What happened to the cars/trucks that had that stuff put in them?

The only thing I found was the fluid did not have the same look and smell after 20K or so.... The real MercV has that unique coloring and smell....



You need those to accurately look and smell if there is something funny going on in the tranny...



My local dealer sells the merc V for about $4 a qt... Regular ATF around here is $3 a qt...



I will spend the extra $5 and get the correct stuff...
