Lucas products

Does anyone here use any products by Lucas. I was getting the oil changed today in the Fusion and the shop that I went to had a display up with all kinds of different items. They had the Injecter cleaner 2 for $5 so I bought some for the Fusion and and my Sport Trac. What other products do you recccommend getting?

Do a site search, as I just did, on 'Lucas' & 'Lucas Oil' and you'll find some interesting reading; both pro and con.

I just started using the Lucas injector cleaner plus upper cylinder lubricant last year. It just made sense to me.

The only thing I wouldn't use is an oil additive.



Though lubrication porperties may seem to be better, many oil additives (including Lucas products) cause the oil to foam easier, which is not a good thing.



As far as oil goes just run a good conventional or synthetic motor oil with no additives IMO.

I have been using the Gas additive for years in all my cars, trucks, ATV, Seadoo and lawnmowers. Great stuff!

I use gas, the cheap stuff.



I do not believe any additives do anything. IMO, they are a waste of money.



I would like to see actual, independant, data sheets that prove the stuff works.
