Magnetic Oil Plug

Does anyone have the threading size or part number to swap out the oem oil drain plug and install a Magnetic oil drain plug for a 08 STA 3V - V8 Engine

My OEM drain plug IS magnetic.



Mine might be an oddball, though.

Those things are sweet! (the filtermag's) Dingo had one at the shop and did a little demo for us...Pricey.. but cool..

Dingo had an oil filter full of BB's and it sucked all of them to the side of the filter.. Really neat.

I'm in for one, possibly 2, of these guys to stick onto my filter. Maybe when I play with the transmission or differential I'll look into those products as well.

I bought a couple of Superplugs over the years but the delivery is slow and once they sent the wrong one, I returned it, and they never did send me another.

So take your chances but if you stand on one side of your kitchen a Superplug WILL suck the refrigerator across the room and pin you against the wall. The magnet on them is unreal.

Sorta like Wile E. Coyote with the big magnet.
