Does anyone know what the least expensive service is to send a small mailable package to China? Maybe 1lb. in one of those heavy duty bubble wrap type envelopes. It was originally sent to me by U.S. Postal Mail from China and I am returning it. I am assuming since it was sent by U.S. Postal it is probably the best deal. Thanks guys.

US Post office will send it but I have no idea what the postage to China would be. If it is anything of value, the Post Office will not provide insurance or deliver confirmation on mail delivered outside the USA.

For something you want to insure or get some kind of delivery guarantee, you will probably have to use Global Express, FedEx, or UPS parcel services.

We've shipped a couple packages through the US Post Office. Usually cost around $20-$35 depending on size and weight to ship to Taiwain. That should give you a idea of what it would cost.

it differes form country to country.. i sent a 1 lb envelope to Zambia last week for $4.00

the 5 lb box at christmas was $30...

A envelope and a box is two different things. We ship to Australia as well and and it usually ends up in the same price area.

Walmart should be able to put in one of their empty containers going back to China for another load.

Actually, almost all of those containers are never returned to China. They produce the containers so cheaply there that it costs more money to return them to China empty than they are worth (a sorry statement on our current import deficit with China). My dad knows one of the owners of a scrap yard that recycles them. Just look at them the next time you see them on a train. They are ALL brand new.

Cost me $8.50 by US Postal Mail for a 1lb bulky envelope. I don't think that is too bad considering it is going to be flown to the other side of the world. I wonder what it is going to cost to send mail to the moon someday?
