well i got another fuel filter time to replace that and the coil and the wires. i have read the projects. and it looks like i will have fun with the wires. the splash guards over the tires on mine are missng the shop broke them when the did the shocks and upper and lower ball joints. how much easier will it be with the guards already out. if i jack it up and take the tires off and go through the side will it be easier? thanks the plugs got replaced at 75,000. now i have 85,000 on my 03 xlt. then off to fort lost it the woods in april.

thanks

Wires are easy if you can get the clips open without breaking them.

As for the filter, use the proper tools for the job and be safe. Have fun!

Wires are not that hard, just give them a twist before you pull them off the plugs. Use dielectric grease inside the boots if you ever plan on doing it again. I just did mine last weekend, plugs and wires, going through wheel well on passenger side is good, the hardest one was middle one one that side, transmission dip stick tube in the way.

well i took a couple of hours but no problems. the only hard part was number 2 wire had to go threw the side after taking the tire off. runs great.
