I wanted to do a simple 194 to LED 194 conversion on my map lights. When I untwisted the socket the ribbon cable tore, common problem from what I have found, with no replacement ribbon cable available without buying a complete overhead console.
So the conversion began, I found this great DIY thread and followed it with the exception of using my LED 194 bulbs in its place. Thanks to SIAN SAM at ford-trucks.com/ for the great write up.
