Mark's Visit to the Clinic

I'm taking a nursing refresher course. Part of the course requires me to work in various hospitals. In order to do that, I had to get a physical and have lab tests done to make sure all my childhood shots were effective. None of it was covered by insurance. The local clinic wanted about $800. To hell with that! So I started calling around...clinic shopping, if you will. I found one that would do it all for $60. I made an appointment and just got back a few minutes ago.



It was a fricking non-profit women's clinic. But I'm not complaining. I got my physical and blood work done and I paid $60 on the way out the door. In fact, I have a follow-up appointment in two weeks to get the test results certified. :grin:

Wait, you did some shopping around, found cheaper medical attention, did it all by yourself, and paid for it from your own money? That's really weird.
