Anybody know if it is possible to turn off the tire sensor indicator on the message center. I had a bad sensor in one of my tires and everytime i turn on the car i get the low pressure message. Anyway to turn that off? Thaks

ah ,, the nanny state strikes again, I wounder what stuffed shirt bureaucrat decided he was better at regulating my tire pressure then I was?
 
I think you can turn it off with an XCal3 & custom tune. Guys on the Mustang boards that I frequent have talked about doing this when they change rims/tires & don't want to buy new bands & sensors.
 
Replacing or repairing the sensors can get expensive. On my wife's Trailblazer, they were $150 each. I've been told the ones used on Lexus are WAY more expensive -- in the $400 neighborhood. Expensive neighborhood, if you ask me.
