Microsoft Project Question

Anyone familiar with Microsoft Project? I am taking a Project Management grad class and have a project that I'm struggling with.



Basically...I'm shortening the duration of a task and it's not increasing the cost of the task. Normally...having to shorten a task will cause an increase in salary or additional resources but it isn't calculating the info. I'm missing something. If anyone can get back to me today...I would appreciate it. :wacko::blink:

usually there is a green tab that appears in the field when you shorten a task and then you can decide how you want to e.g..work has reduced for the task or resources will work more hours.
