mixing tranny fluids?

Is it safe to drop the pan and then refill with synthetic so you have some conventional and some synthetic in there... I just got a complete flush but would like to drop the pan to do the EPC mod as well as install my tranny temp gauge.

Where do you plan to install the tranny temp gauge??? I would like to do the same.

I have molded an a pillar gauge pod in from autometer, used some fiberglass and bindo to make it look molded in, you dont have to do this it does fit flush without doing this.

I wouldnt mix the syn with the regular fluid..might be some compatabilty problems..do a complete flush to change to syn...

Where are you placing the sensor on the tranny itself??

no... with the tranny gauge you get a supplied sensore. you have to drill a hole into the pan use a tap die set to thread the hole then install the provided sensor.
